Serbia spreads false narratives against Kosovo with the help of Russia

The Prime Minister of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, has stated that Serbia, with open support from Russia, has set up a network of narratives that aim to harm Kosovo and hinder its progress towards Euro-Atlantic integration.

Kurti called on the diplomatic corps of Kosovo to act decisively and clearly and not to give space to Serbian propaganda in the countries where they serve.

“Serbia constantly uses propaganda and disinformation as a weapon of its foreign policy. With open support from Russia, it has set up a network of false narratives that aim to harm our country and hinder our progress towards European and Euro-Atlantic integrations”, he said during the 7th edition of the Ambassadors’ Conference.

Kurti added that Kosovo is still a new country for most of the countries where the ambassadors serve, and that they should work to strengthen its position on the international stage.
