Dacia presents Striker, the model that has “everything in one”

The Romanian brand Dacia has officially introduced the new Striker model, which will be part of the C segment and will start at a price below 25 thousand euros. Striker is a model that has “everything in one”. It is a ‘crossover’ that combines elements of an SUV with the practicality of a caravan and the efficiency and comfort of a sedan. The model comes with a new design, “T”-shaped lights at the front and rear and sufficient space in the trunk.

Inside, there’s a central touchscreen, a digital instrument cluster, and physical buttons for key functions. Dacia says it has also improved the cabin’s noise insulation.

The Striker will be offered only with five seats and will not have diesel engines. The base version uses a 1.2-liter gasoline engine and a mild-hybrid system, which can also operate on gas. A hybrid version with a 1.8-liter engine and two electric motors will also be on offer. The starting price in the European market will be under 25 thousand euros, while the more improved versions are expected to cost over 30 thousand euros. The Striker will go on sale in Europe later this year.
