Germany condemns the attack: The perpetrators should be held accountable

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Germany has condemned Friday’s terrorist attack on the Ibër-Lepenci canal in Zubin-Potok. In a statement in Twitter, this ministry shared the reaction of the high representative of the European Union, who called the act a terrorist attack.

“Germany joins the high representative in strongly condemning yesterday’s terrorist attack on the key infrastructure of Kosovo. Full solidarity with Kosovo. The perpetrators must be held responsible”, says the reaction of the German MFA.

Kosovo’s critical infrastructure experienced last night the biggest terrorist attack since the post-war. After in the north, the Ibër-Lepenci channel was hit with explosives, the authorities restored the flow and prevented the energy collapse. The police, meanwhile, have secured evidence and arrested some of the suspects.
