“Crazy Taxi” will return next year with the new title “Crazy Taxi: World Tour,” bringing new adventures for fans of the game. The game follows the character Axel on a mission to recover his stolen taxi, as he travels through five different cities around the world in search of thieves.
According to the presentation, “Crazy Taxi: World Tour” will maintain the familiar style of the game with fast driving and extreme maneuvers. Players will earn points and virtual money by completing various missions and challenges.
“Crazy Taxi: World Tour” will also include an Arcade Mode, which allows players to return to the classic experience of the original game. The first Crazy Taxi game debuted in 1999, before being released on the Sega Dreamcast in 2000. “Crazy Taxi: World Tour” is expected to be released next year for Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch 2, and Steam.
