Poland urges its citizens to leave Iran immediately

Poland’s Prime Minister Donald Tusk has urged Polish citizens to leave Iran immediately, adding that “under no circumstances should anyone travel to that country,” while warning that the prospect of active conflict is “very, very real.”

Tusk has said that conflict could erupt within “a few hours” and “evacuation may no longer be an option.”

“Please take this seriously. We have had bad experiences in the past with people ignoring these warnings. So I want to emphasize it once again: leave Iran immediately or cancel your travel plans. If a hot conflict breaks out, no one will be able to guarantee you a way out,” he said at a press conference.

CNN reported on Thursday, citing sources, that the US is prepared to carry out an attack on Iran, but that President Donald Trump is weighing the decision.
