Turkish combat drone “Bayraktar AKINCI” successfully passes new precision strike tests

The unmanned combat drone Bayraktar AKINCI from Turkey has successfully completed new target strike tests with the ELCIN 82 and LACIN 82 complexes. Baykar Company announced that the ELCIN 82 complex used is a laser guidance system developed by the Turkish defense company Roketsan. The LACIN 82 guidance system is also produced by Roketsan.

Bayraktar AKINCI is known for its successes in strategic missions, accumulating 80,000 flight hours, leaving behind another important point in the history of Turkish aviation.

In the tests conducted on February 22, Bayraktar AKINCI successfully destroyed the Albatros IDA, which sailed over the sea for the first time, using the ASELFLIR-500 electro-optical system for observation, surveillance and guidance of targets. This is the world’s most advanced electro-optical system in its class, developed by the Turkish defense company Aselsan.
