Google Gemini will now generate summaries of long emails in Gmail. This option previously had to be activated manually, but now there is no longer a need for user intervention. Summaries will appear above emails in English on mobile devices and will update in real time with new replies. It may take up to two weeks for this innovation to appear in your account. The update brings these Artificial Intelligence options to Docs, Chat, and Meet.
In Google Chat, Gemini can summarize messages on the main page so that users can see which is more urgent. This is enabled in English, Spanish, and six others. In Google Docs, users can place a summary at the beginning of the document by clicking “summary building block.” Meanwhile, in Meet, users can select the “room” square when several users use the same device, while “individual” focuses on the face of one participant.
