Glasses with real-time translation!

Real-time translation on glasses. This is Meta’s latest initiative involving AI in collaboration with an eyewear brand, where the downloaded language pack allows anyone to have a conversation in English, Italian, Spanish, German, etc., without the need for an internet connection. Anyone involved in the conversation can read the translation on the smartphone screen, which must be connected to the network. Activation occurs with the voice command Hey Meta, start the real-time translation.

The latest news was announced by the company in an official announcement, which includes a variety of lenses and eyeglass formats.

There are also a number of new features for users in the US and Canada, including a chat with the virtual assistant. The glasses will of course see what the user is looking at in real time, providing contextual answers without having to repeat the voice activation each time. As for Meta AI, the company will expand the access of Ray-Ban Meta glasses to many EU countries, and will soon reach Mexico, India and the United Arab Emirates.
