France does not give up on punishing the perpetrators of the attack in Banjska

The Ambassador of France in Kosovo, Olivier Guerot, has said that France has repeatedly called on Serbia to bring the perpetrators of the attack in Banjska to justice. He has emphasized that Kosovo and Serbia must implement the agreements resulting from the dialogue and that this implementation will be “decisive for the European integration” of the states.

“During the meeting with President Vucic, the French president constantly reminded him that the perpetrators of the attack in Banjska must be brought to justice, including Milan Radoicic”, he said in an interview for “Kosovo Online”.

Guerot added that he welcomes the Government’s decision to allow Serbian goods through the crossing point in Merdar, but he said that others should be opened. “The situation at the border is not entirely satisfactory, due to increased security controls that cause long waits at the border. More crossings should be opened and all obstacles should be removed or softened, in accordance with Kosovo’s obligations in CEFTA”.
