The first robot smartphone is presented at the Barcelona Technology Fair. The Chinese technology giant, Honor, has exhibited a new prototype of a smartphone and at the same time a humanoid robot for domestic help. The first is called Robot Phone and is a phone with traditional shapes, but it also has a mechanism, a robotic eye, that comes out of the body of the smartphone thanks to several small motors installed that make movement possible.
It can take photos and videos, but also serves as an instrument for observing the surrounding environment, with a 360-degree rotation.
It is driven by AI software that gives it context-sensitive movements, responding to interactions through a digital assistant called YoYo.
This is the first time, and we will see how the inclusion of AI, with algorithms similar to those of self-driving cars, to identify objects, faces and depth, will shape the next generation of technology. Also, the other product has aroused curiosity, the humanoid robot, created in the likeness of a human. The company’s idea is to create commercial humanoids for assistance during shopping and shopping, inspections in workplaces, companionship and personalized physical support and assistance.
